昨日今日と連続でマストの妖怪展に行ってきたよ。
新しいキャラクターがわんさかあって絶妙の配置で展示してる。
我関せずな常設非常ベルの配色まで味方につけてるからビックリよ！
家に飾れないようなでかい作品から小さいものまで４０点近くあるんだけど、
コンセプトや手法など小難しいことを抜きにして欲しい。部屋に欲しいっていう。
純粋に欲求が突き動かされるようなのが幾つかあって素直にやられた。今今今です。
アートについて語ろうなんてつもりはこれっぽっちもないですから、
渋谷に立ち寄った際には御自分の目で確認・認識してみて下ちい。
見たことない妖怪感に触れることが出来る筈。
昨日は終わる筈の２１時頃から宇川さんの話が面白すぎて２時過ぎまで居残ったり、
今日は多方面から友達が駆けつけたから「今年もよろしく」なんて感じの
新年会的な要素が含まれててずっとバカなことばっかり言ってたり。
とかくにんまり笑顔で帰宅。良い刺激をもらった２日間でした。

絵画を平面表現だとは思わない。空間表現だ。
その絵がどのようなものと一緒にどのような場所に置かれるか、それをすることによって今まで意味をなさなかった物にまで意味が生まれる。それぞれの要素が重複を嫌い共鳴し合う。それが無限に行われている空間が美しい。（もちろん一枚の絵の中でもそれと同じことが行われているのだが）
そして妖怪とはそういった美意識に対してとてもデリケートなんだ。
例えば百鬼夜行。「奇々怪々な風情の妖怪達が行列をなし、闇の京都を徘徊する」っていう怪談話なんだけど、それに出てくる妖怪は皆、自分の事を知り尽くしている。どんな形でどんな色か。だから出てくるタイミングが皆絶妙！！
「あいつの次は同じぐらいのサイズで色違いの俺だろっ！」
とか
「あいつら２匹チビが続いたから今度はマッチョで真っ黒な儂が出てバランスとってくるわい！」
といった相談を現世との狭間の舞台袖的なとこでコソコソやってんだって！
だから、妖怪ってのはおどろおどろしくて怖いものというよりは、見る者を楽しませるエンターテイナーなんだ。
その楽しませ方がホラー感なだけ！！

妖怪マメ知識。 粕三平 編著 『お化け図絵』 より。。。
「寝太り」
説明「寝ているうちに体がだんだん肥え膨れていく妖怪。
可憐だと思っていた女が力士のように肥満していくという発想には、
人の世の儚い思いが込められている」
「ぬへっほふ」
説明「いわゆるのっぺらぼうである。
体全体がまるでこんにゃくのようにふわふわしている。
ひとに危害は与えないがひどく驚かしてしまう」
私が妖怪になるなら、せめて、ぬへっほふのような妖怪でありたい。。。
ぬへっほふ、ぬへっほっふ、ぬっへっほっふ。。。ひっぷほっぷ。（うーん似ている）
寝太りだけは、、、現実感ありすぎるから、、、、。
マストさん、個展開催、おめでとうございます。
行けそうにはありませんが、遠くから、応援しています。
